Hello little corvids! I will be uploading more content as soon as I finish tweaking the blog to my liking, but for now I have a question for you. Do any of you like listening to music while you read a blog? I like to listen to jazz or classical music when I read things, so I thought it would help you to understand the type of person I am a little more. Here’s a poll for you to vote on so you can help me to make my final decision. The input of my viewers means a lot to me. 🙂

I’ve never really been into watches. Ever since I was little I didn’t understand the hype of a watch. According to many people, the watch is an essential to tell time, but to me all I need is my phone. As I got more interested in the world of fashion I noticed that watches, although meant for more practical purposes, could be used as a beautiful accessory.
The necessity for a watch increased once I got a job. We are not allowed to have our phones out while we’re working. The only option we have is to walk up to a mounted phone somewhere in the store to check the time… Or, we could wear a watch. After getting a follow from a company called Valere London on my Instagram, I went to their page to see what they did. To my surprise, they sold watches! Also, with them being a new looking company, and me being a new blogger in need of a watch, I took them up on their search for someone to collaborate with. (Lucky for me, they didn’t mind having a complete newbie promote their product. Most companies want you to either be famous or have 1,000 or so followers on your blog and Instagram.)
As you can tell from the packaging, Valere London is a minimalist brand. Their watches are very clean cut and beautiful, allowing them to be worm at any time; any occasion.
I chose their Primus Silver with blue suede strap. I’m not too familiar with suede, but I’m glad I got it because it’s very soft yet firm enough to stay fitted on your wrist. What I consider to be the best part is that the bands of the watches are interchangeable, so if it doesn’t match your look you can just swap it out.
This is the only picture I was able to take with the watch showing because it was so cold outside. You’ll probably see more of it in future posts.
Here’s the full outfit! As always, I like to choose just a few colors to stick to: normally some neutrals and one stand out color. It makes things neat, yet interesting.
I don’t wear makeup very often, and I’m still a beginner, so my goal is to do a look every weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) to improve. The makeup look for this outfit was subtle and soft, featuring a black shimmer eyeliner, sheer purple lip gloss, and some pink blush. I don’t like the feel of a full face of foundation and I really like the freckles and beauty marks that I have, so I only lightly covered some blemishes.
If you actually read everything, thanks! If you’ve just been waiting for the code, don’t worry, it’s coming up.

As the New Year feelings are fading, I’d still like to keep up with my resolutions. One of the biggest ones is to work on my blog every chance I get and no matter what: bad lighting and no tripod can no longer be an excuse. So, despite the terrible quality and not remembering to take a picture the day of, here is the outfit I wore on New Year’s eve!
The colors give it a Christmas-y feeling. This was not my intention though; I just didn’t have any black pants and I was rushing to get to work on time. Even when fashion bloggers (or anyone into fashion) make mistakes, we make it work!
These were the head accessories for the night. I tried to find a burgundy color to match my pants. The bow was on the side of my head opposite from my bangs so you could see it better.
I wore these cute boots for the night. I had worn black Converse for work but later decided to change into something that matched a little more.
Last, but not least, is the special piece of the night! I got this steampunk-ish clock necklace as a gift one year and due to its size I’ve barely worn it. This time it was able to find its way in when I thought of a way to make my outfit more fitting to the event. On New Year’s Eve, we do a count down to midnight, so I thought that having my own little clock would be a fun way to show that tradition.
My dad and I didn’t do much in terms of celebration for that year/this year. We don’t usually go to parties or even host them, but we used to go to Dave & Buster every year to play games and watch the ball drop. Unfortunately, the one we go to had some other thing going on… Instead, we enjoyed a dinner at Chili’s. We ended that by watching the ball drop and eating a chocolate lava cake.
Sorry for the bad quality and late post. Have a great New Year, try to stick to your resolutions, and don’t forget to love yourself and others!

When your sock drawer is mainly filled with black or white sport’s socks, you start to get bored with your limited choices. Well, at least I do…
I first discovered these cuties on Depop one day and thought to myself, these look interesting. So I stalked around their website for a bit (outside of Depop) and found that these little guys were on sale! A few days later, they were mine.
They came in a set of five, all of them with different colors and a mesh-like middle that I’ve never seen before. Since they are ankle socks, people will most likely never see them… I know they’re there though, and that’s all that matter! (Like lingerie.)
The first pair of socks I wanted to try were the red ones, of course. Trying to find a pair of shoes that would show them off was a little hard. Eventually I chose my brown flats; at least the ears would poke out.
Trying to stick with the warm autumn theme, I paired them with brown leggings, an orange skirt, and a black turtleneck. I would have probably worn a brown turtleneck if I owned one.
To tie it all together I put on my signature bow in a red that matched my socks, and a brown faux leather jacket.
Then I decided to be a goofball for the rest of the day. This mask was given to my dad from a co-worker and hasn’t been used for anything besides display, so he thought it would be funny to pair it with my outfit. The colors actually match!
Now that I’m on break I plan to post more outfits, and possibly even some makeup looks. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday filled with love!
Please note, I may not always find the products I wear online to link for you but I will always leave the brand. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. 🙂
I got asked this question plenty of times this Halloween, and it’s not even surprising because I honestly looked normal except for one thing… I was wearing shorts in autumn.
For this year’s costume, I went as Pugsley Addams. Honestly, Cousin Itt was my first choice but being short of time and already planning to do a group costume for school, this was the outcome. Luckily I recently got a haircut which at least made this costume more recognizable (at least to the older people who truly knew the Addams Family).
I surprisingly didn’t own a striped shirt, so I needed to buy one and I pair of shorts. The good thing about this costume is that I could easily wear the pieces as everyday clothing and nobody would question it.
In order to make the costume a bit more recognizable I got a toy octopus to carry around. In the cartoon they own a giant blue one named Aristotle. In the movies though, it’s small one that’s probably about the same color as the one I’m holding. He stayed in my hood all night.
As a group effort, I also had a Morticia and a Wednesday with me. However, my Wednesday didn’t want to trick-or-treat so here is Morticia. Unfortunately, nobody seemed to know who she was either.
We found this really cute little entrance along the walkway of someone’s house. I kind of wanted to open the doors but that would’ve been rude since it’s not my property. At least I have a picture…
How about this, who’s like to help me come up with a story for this little entrance? Leave your ideas in the comments.
I hope everyone had a spooky Halloween! Sorry for the delay.
